Professor Adam Sobel presented the talk, The Social Responsibility of a Climate Scientist, at TEDx Broadway on May 17, 2022. He reflected upon his purpose and identity as a climate scientist and examines the call to do the right thing for the planet, even when facts are blurred by politics and government.

He is the author of Storm Surge: Hurricane Sandy, Our Warming Planet, and the Extreme Weather of the Past and Future and numerous op-eds.
