Medical Physics Students Visit Icahn School of Medicine

APAM alum, Dr. Jacob Kamen (Ph.D. 1992, Applied Physics/Nuclear Engineering), an Associate Professor of Radiology and the Chief Radiation and Laser Safety Officer at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, gave our Medical Physics students a tour and answered questions about field of radiology and the job application process.

On October 23rd, our Medical Physics students visited APAM alum, Dr. Jacob Kamen (Ph.D. 1992, Applied Physics / Nuclear Engineering).

Dr. Kamen is an Associate Professor of Radiology and the Chief Radiation & Laser Safety Officer at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He generously offered to give our students a tour of his office, as well as to answer any questions they had about the field of radiology and the job application process.

The field trip was coordinated by the APAM Department Career Services Officer, Kristen Henlin, who leads numerous events during the academic year, both on and off campus, which help our students explore potential career directions.
