Employer Spotlight: MSK chat with Paul Booth

Paul Booth, from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, met with APAM Department medical physics graduate students on November 15, 2019.

Dr. Booth is currently the Section Head of Biomedical Systems in the Biomedical Engineering group of the Department of Medical Physics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In this role, he is part of the team that is tasked with identifying and implementing new and evolving technologies into healthcare operations. Paul is also heavily involved in the Medical Device Initiative where he works alongside physicians and researchers and is the technical lead in the engineering and business development of new medical devices. He is also involved in the Biomedical Engineering internship program where several students each summer have the opportunity to work alongside medical professionals on engineering projects.

Paul received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, M.S. in Finance from Texas Tech University, M.S. in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, and is currently in the Ph.D. program for Technology Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

This talk was one of many career services events offered to APAM graduate students to help them make connections and discover future employment opportunities.
