Columbia Fusion Research Center Graduates
The Columbia Fusion Research Center is proud to celebrate another outstanding graduating cohort of bachelor’s and master’s students this spring. Many of the graduating students began working in the laboratory as early as their sophomore year, building extensive hands-on experience through long-term involvement in fusion research projects. Most also completed at least one summer of full-time work at the center, contributing to ongoing experimental, engineering, and technical efforts while developing skills that will support them well beyond graduation.
This year’s graduates represent a wide range of academic disciplines, including physics, applied physics, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Following graduation, members of the cohort will pursue careers and further study across an equally diverse set of fields. Graduates are heading to graduate school programs, fusion and fission startup companies, the aerospace industry, mechanical engineering firms, and one will enter the Julliard music school.
The Fusion Research Center congratulates all of this year’s graduates. We look forward to seeing their continued accomplishments and wish them the very best in their future careers.
