The workshop will be in the spirit of the previously very successful workshops in this series held in Aarhus, Denmark (2006), Santa Fe, NM (2003), San Diego, CA (2001), Princeton, NJ (1999), Boulder, CO (1997), Berkeley, CA (1994), Irvine, CA (1992), and Washington, D.C. (1988), and it will cover a large range of interconnected topics including:

- Confinement and dynamics of NNP

- Antiparticle plasmas and antimatter

- Strongly coupled plasmas

- Accelerator physics

- Ion trapping physics including quantum information

- Dusty plasmas
